Eternal Flow
One of the many things I love about New York is that there is coffee everywhere, and in many places the iconic paper cup that it’s served in. Is this iconic object hidden in plain sight? I hope not. I always wondered who the designer may have been, and if they’d have ever thought Greek key design would be in every deli. The pattern also know as the Meander was characterized by a very convoluted path. It became the most important symbol in Ancient Greece, symbolizing infinity or the eternal flow of things. The eternal flow of coffee – perhaps?
